Day 1 Amsterdam-Budapest with KLM, afternoon visit to Pest including tour through the neighborhood with the former aristocratic palaces and the Terror Haz museum, Opera in the evening
Day 2 Visit with guide to Buda, lunch and talk about Transylvania and its aristocracy, then and now, by Jaap Scholten in The Writer’s Villa in the hills of Buda, travel to Sibiu
Day 3 Sibiu, reading about Transylvania, visit Brukenthal Museum
Day 4 Brasov, organ concert in Black Church, visit with guide inner city, in the afternoon to Zabola, staying at the counts Mikes estate, in the evening bear watching
Day 5 Tour with carriages and picknick at Zabola estate, encounter with countess Katalin Mikes, dinner in the Kalnoky hunting castle in Miklosvar
Day 6, Stay in Miklosvar, explanation of renovation project by count Tibor Kalnoky, travel to Zalánpatak, dinner and stay in the cottage of the Prince of Wales
Day 7 Early morning hike in the hills and forests of Zalánpatak with one of the local guides, travel to Sigisoara, visit with guide the walled city, visit Biertan, travel to Valea Verda, private classic concert and dinner and Romanian wines by chef Jonas Schäfer
